Da França, chega a Poste 942 com seu primeiro full lenght intitulado Long Play. A banda está na ativa por alguns anos e havia lançado anteriormente alguns EPs e também uma Demo, sendo que o Extend Play² passou por aqui no blog no início do ano.
A banda sempre se destacou por carregar uma sonoridade vibrante e direta ao ponto, reunindo influências que passam pelo Hard Rock, Grunge, Stoner entre outros. É algo de fácil assimilação e vai cativar aqueles que procuram por algo que não deixa o ritmo electrizante cair em nenhum momento.

ALBUM REVIEW: POSTE 942 – LONG PLAY
From France, comes Poste 942 with their first full lenght album titled Long Play. The band has been active for a few years and had previously released some EPs and also a Demo, remembering that the EP Extend Play² were reviewed here on the blog earlier this year.
The band has always stood out by carrying a vibrant and straight forward sound, gathering influences that go through Hard Rock, Grunge, Stoner, Blues, among others. It’s something of easy assimilation and will captivate those looking for a type of music that does not let the electrifying rhythm fall in no time.
Long Play brings some tracks already known by the followers of the band that fit very well in both the context and the sound proposal that Poste 942 has during the album. The roots of the band have remained faithful and throughout the album you can feel the energy and excitement that the members deliver when playing these songs, in a passionate and dedicated way.
And if there’s something Poste 942 knows how to do very well are songs with striking sonic power, the instrumental part is an adrenaline rush that is nicely complemented by the vocals, which stand out in many passages. And even when the band slows down (which is rare), it delivers one of its most interesting compositions, “Pigs in Paradise” will play directly those who enjoy bands from the Grunge and Alternative scene of the 90s.
