Da França, vem mais um trabalho empolgante da banda Poste 942, Extended Play² foi lançado no dia 15 de Junho e traz 3 novas faixas da sonoridade electrizante do grupo francês. Combinando elementos do Stoner, Hard Rock e Grunge, a banda segue uma proposta básica e bem conhecida por todos, eles não estão tentando estabelecer tendências ou soar inovadores e isso facilita a identificação do ouvinte com a sonoridade da banda.
Você percebe a energia da Poste 942 logo nos primeiros instantes de ‘49.3’, faixa que abre o EP. Sem perder tempo, a banda dispara um ritmo agressivo liderado por riffs furiosos e uma performance vocal que não deixa o ritmo diminuir, mantendo uma abordagem direta e repleta de adrenalina. “Devil’s Complaint” é a seguinte, trazendo um clima setentista forte e linhas de baixo que me trazem a memoria algo vindo da cena Grunge. From France, comes another exciting work from Poste 942, Extended Play² was released on 15 of June and brings 3 new tracks of the french group’s electric sound. Combining elements of Stoner, Hard Rock and Grunge, the band follows a basic proposal well known to all, they are not trying to establish trends or sound innovative and this facilitates the identification of the listener with the sound of the band.
You notice the energy of Post 942 just in the first moments of ’49 .3 ‘, track that opens the EP. Not wasting time, the band shoots an aggressive rhythm led by furious riffs and a vocal performance that does not let the pace decrease, maintaining a direct approach and full of adrenaline. “Devil’s Complaint” is the next, bringing a strong 70’s mood and bass lines that remind me of something coming from the Grunge scene. With a well-built approach that delivers a memorable chorus, Post 942 keeps the furious tone of its music at all times. “Opium for the Masses” ends the EP keeping the footprint presented in the two previous tracks, it delivers some remarkable riffs and a well-conducted instrumental, walking at an intense pace and that does not give us pause to catch our breath.
